Carers Hub Lambeth is a charity offering services to anyone who provides unpaid care and support, either living in Lambeth or caring for someone in Lambeth. You might be looking after a family member, partner, friend or neighbour because of their ill health or disability. We offer advice, information, emotional support, support groups and events. We have a specialist team for young carers (anyone with a caring role who is under 18) and a specialist worker for carers of someone with a mental illness.
Older Carers Peer Support Group
With the help of volunteers, we aim to set up and facilitate (for up to 12 months per group), small peer to peer support groups for older carers across Lambeth and the South West London, to provide emotional support, friendship, information and signposting.
The Carers’ Hub Enquiry Line offers information, support and general advice on all issues affecting you as a carer. Our aim is to support you in your caring role by helping with issues like Housing, Social Services, Council Services, Welfare Benefits, Maximising your Income, Charitable Grants, Leisure activities, Transport, Local Support Groups, NHS services, Respite and Carers Assessments.
Mental Health Carers service
Our service offers carers a hub to access general information, advice, guidance and emotional support around your role in supporting someone with a mental illness. With our knowledge of local organisations providing specialist support, we can sign-post or refer you where necessary.
